The remains of Green Hughes, who was the victim of a harrowing accident in Atlanta on Saturday, were on Monday brought to this city, from where they were carried to near Stilesboro for interment. Young Hughes, with several other boys, were attempting to cross the railroad track, when the train ran on to the vehicle they were in, crushing it and more or less injuring all of the party. Hughes was mangled terribly and died instantly. |
