Mrs. Esther Stokes Canty Hudson, 87, of 407 Johnson St., Cartersville, died on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, at Emory Cartersville Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. W.H. Whatley officiating and Rev. Alvin Harris, pastor.  Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Lula Speights, 168 Mayflower Circle.
