Katie Ellen, infant daughter of W. H. and M. E. Hood, on the 27th of June, aged two years and three months.

Again, in the short space of ten days, these parents are bereft of another child. Truly are they afflicted. With hearts already bruised, another blow falls upon them quickly. May the hand that deals the successive blows speedily and sweetly heal their bruised hearts. May the double void in the earthly household be more than balanced by the blessed and inspiring truth of their having two more in Heaven than heretofore. The Good Shepard has placed the little one above, and will safely keep her for you. Follow Him, and though He lead through thorny paths here, he will bring you to your children once more, and no more to part.---Pastor.
