“Adairsville News.” Last week* I spoke of the death of one of our colored mechanics, and this week, it is my painful duty to report the death of JNO. HOOD (col’d) our very worthy village blacksmith. He departed this life on the night of the 20th; also, Rev. FRANK BROWN, a colored minister, died the same night—both good citizens. We have had a great deal of sickness lately, particularly among the colored people. [*No Adairsville News was published in the previous weeks paper.] ******************** February 3, 1875 Letters of Administration. J. D. Bowdoin on the estate of John Hood, deceased. ******************** March 4, 1875 Leave to Sell Lands. J. D. Bowdoin, Administrator of John Hood, deceased, applied to sell the real estate of the deceased. |
