“Local Matters In Paragraphs.”

Mr. William Heath, an old citizen and farmer of Pine Log, who was stricken with paralysis some weeks ago, died last week and was buried in the Pine Log Cemetery.  Mr. Heath is well known in this section, having lived here a number of years before the war, and was known as an honest and upright gentleman.  He was a confederate soldier and bore a splendid record as a soldier.  He was seventy three years of age.  He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss.  The family has the sympathies of this community in their bereavement.
