Sad Death.

Mrs. Alice Harvey died at the home of her father, Mr. J. W. Andrews, six miles east of Cartersville on Sunday night, of consumption.  She had a severe spell of measles in January last which settled on her lungs and rendered her an easy victim of consumption.

Mrs. Harvey was the wife of Charles Harvey and was only seventeen years old at the time of her death.  She was born in Canton but was reared in this county.  Those who knew her say she was a most estimable young woman and praised her for her estimable qualities.  She was not a member of the church, but was considered a true Christian and gave most notable evidences of her peace with her maker.

The remains were interred on Monday at Raccoon church.
