Ceola Hammock, veteran of World War I, passed away at his residence, Rome Rte. 4, early Sunday morning following an extended illness.

Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Sarah Hammock, of Rome Rte. 4; one sister, Mrs. Vera Parks, of Detroit, Mich., and other relatives.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be announced later.
