Dr. THOS. HAMILTON died in Rome on Sunday, 9th inst. he was about 70 years old, and for many years before he quit the practice, stood at the head of the medical profession in the Cherokee counties.  He was a man of fine literary and scientific attainments, a friend to the poor, a worthy and beloved citizen—says the Courier.
