Jerry A. Green, 40, of 63 Winchester Dr., Kingston died Sunday, Dec. 13, at his residence. He was born July 9, 1958 in Dallas, Ga., He was a Shaw Industry employee, a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and an U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Simpson and Nellie Corine Ferguson Green; and brother, James Harvey Green.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Green, Kingston, a son, Tommy Freeman, Kingston; two daughters, Malissa Freeman, and Lawana Freeman, Kingston; two sisters Faye Lankford, Gadsden, Ala., Hazel Powell, Rockmart. Three grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. from the Freeman Harris Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Danny Roberson and Rev. Jeremiah Jackson officiating.

The Freeman Harris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements of Jerry A. Green.
