Mrs. Grant KINGSTON─ Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Dixie Grant were at 2 p.m. today at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Kingston. The Revs. Garry Easterwood, Ulysses Prince and Carl Porter officiated. Interment was at the church cemetery. Mrs. Grant, 60, of Route 1, Flowery Branch Road, died Saturday afternoon from injuries sustained earlier Saturday in an automobile wreck near Rome. She was born March 21, 1927, in Cleveland, Tenn., the daughter of the late George W. Pritchard and Lillie Mae Cox. She had been a resident of Floyd County for the past seven years, moving here from McDonough. Mrs. Grant was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of Kingston. Survivors include her husband, Harvey Lee Grant, to whom she was married on June 7, 1952; two step-sons, Anthony Dean Pritchard and Jimmy Pritchard; two step-daughters, Mary Lee Morrow, Gastonia, N.C. and Betty Jo Grant, Temple, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Rickman, Oconee, Tenn., and Mrs. June Negler, Atlanta; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. |
