MRS. T. G. B. GORE DIES IN CASSVILLE

A Worthy Tribute to a Good and Popular Lady.

On February 22, 1915, the Angel of Death visited the home of Mr. T.G.B. Gore, removing from it the faithful wife and mother, Mrs. Laura Gilbert Gore.

Her death, though not unexpected, was a sad shock to her neighbors and many other friends, as to the grief stricken family. The funeral, conducted by her pastor, Rev. H.M. Strozier, assisted by Rev. Walter Adams, took place February 24 from the Cassville Methodist church, interment in Cassville cemetery.

Mourning her loss in the home, besides her husband, are a daughter, Miss Fannie Gore, a son, Mr. Charlie Gore, and little Murphey Gore. A daughter Mrs. J. W. Brown, and little grandson reside near Cartersville.

She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Wm. Gilbert, three brothers, Mr. Lon Gilbert of (Sailsa?) I.T., and Mr. Robert Gilbert of Aragon, Ga., ad Mr. Willie Gilbert of Cassville.

Mrs. Gore was born at Roswell, Ga April 27,1858. When she was quite young the family moved to Jewell, Gal, remaining there until 1878 when they came to Bartow County.

While our hearts are bowed in sorrow over this going away of this loved one, we do not grieve as they (who are) without hope.

We know that she has but gone on before to the "Mansion" prepared for her, to claim that which remaineth to the people of God.

Her religion was one of loving and kindly deeds, proving her faith by living in the interest of others.

May the Christ who was her guide prepare us to meet her in a better world.

When our summons comes may we be able to repeat with her "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
