Mrs. J.O. Goodson Buried Sunday

Mrs. J.O. Goodson died at her home on Douglas Street last Friday at 5:15 after a month’s illness.  Mrs. Goodson had been sick since last spring.  Her condition became alarming several weeks ago.  Her children rushed to her bedside and everything was done that doctors could do to save her life, but the end came Friday evening with all her children and grandchildren at her bedside.

Funeral services were held at the home on Douglas Street Sunday at two o’clock; Rev. George V. Crow conducting the funeral services and Jackson funeral directors in charge of arrangements.

Prince, Miss Louise Pence from Atlanta, H.L. Barron, Mr. Harris Barron, Mr. Jessie White, Mr. C.H. Goodson, Mr. R.E. Goodson from Marietta, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hulme of Kingston, Mrs. Joe Chapman, Miss Frances Chapman of Etowah; Mr. and Mrs. Fred White of Anniston, Alabama.
