Mr. John Goodchild departed this life at his home near here Monday night at 7 o’clock. He was sick with pneumonia but a short while. He was a stout, hearty looking man and we would not have thought of death so soon. Mr. Goodchild was a good citizen, a hardworking man and was a good husband and father. We all sympathize with the bereaved family.
