Kingston.

Kingston News will be sad this week.

On the evening of the 5th Dr. L. M. Gillams’ remains were brought here by his sorrowing family for interment. He died in Atlanta on the 3rd. Kind, sympathizing friends and old neighbors met the party at the depot and carried them to the cemetery where our old friend and neighbor was laid to rest. Dr. Gillam lived in Kingston many years before moving to Atlanta, and he was highly respected as a good citizen and a good man in every respect. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss. We can truthfully say the bereaved ones have the heartfelt sympathy of this entire community in their sad bereavement.
