Jesse O. Gainor, 63, of 830 Straight Street, Apt. 2, Dalton, passed away early Monday morning in the Hamilton Medical Center.

He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Cassville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. George and Mrs. Marie McClure Gainor.

Survivors are his wife, Tanya Gainor of Dalton; two daughters and son-in-law, Vicky (Anthony) Johnson, of Dalton, Felicia Gainor of Cartersville; two sons, Roger Gainor and Darrel Gainor of Cartersville.

Also, eight sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice (Henry) Gordon, of Chattanooga, Lucille Hardrick, of Bridgeport, Ala., Lillie (Charles) Dwight, of Dalton, Eleanor (Willie) Reynolds of Atlanta, Catherine (Bill) Rogers, Katie (Jimmy) Gainor, Wonderful Elaine (James) Green, all of Cartersville, and Sheila (S/Sgt. Kinney) Clark of the Panama Canal; three brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Shirley) Gainor, of Sumter, S.C., Rev. Charles Michael (Gloria) Gainor and Rev. Guy Gainor, all of Cartersville; sister-in-law, Wyleen (Johnny) Taylor of Dalton; bother-in-law, Lewis (Vickie) Macon of Columbus; grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday at noon from the chapel of the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. James Jewell and other ministers officiating. The remains will lie in state Thursday after 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Flower bearers and pallbearers will be family and friends. Interment will be in the Cassville Cemetery in Cartersville.

The family will assemble at the Willis Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Friday morning.

Willis Funeral Home Inc. of Dalton is in charge of the arrangements.
