Mr. Edward Lee French, 35, of Dalton, formerly of Harriman, passed away Saturday, Dec. 19 in the Bradley County Memorial Hospital, Cleveland.

He was a technician with Massengill Heating and Air, Dalton and a United States Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father Bill B. French, Sr., in 1989.

He is survived by his wife Joann French, Dalton; his mother Ruby French, Starke, Fla.; brothers, Bill B. French, Jr., Starke, and Jon E. French, Oak Ridge; sisters, Margaret Brown, Altoona, Fla., and Susan Buchene, Rutledge, Tenn.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Evans Mortuary, with Pastor Spencer Garner officiating.

Interment followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery, with military honors by the Roane County Volunteer Honor Guard.

Evans Mortuary of Rockwood, Tenn., is serving the family of Mr. Edward Lee French.
