Mr. E. E. Freeman was summoned to Atlanta last week by a telegram, bringing the sad news of the death of his father Col. Jas. C. Freeman.  Col. Freeman was for several years after the war, prominent in public affairs in Georgia, at one time representing the Atlanta district in Congress.
