We regret to learn that our friend Mr. E. E. Freeman lost an infant child on Monday night from the effects of whooping cough.

Obituary.

One more bright star added to the celestial constellation of the happy blessed, by the death of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman, little David Neal, after patient unremitting suffering, was, on the night of the 1st, wafted to that Kingdom which, according to Christ, is made of such as little Neal.  Oh! Happy reconciliatory thought for parents to know that he is now a member of the immortal blessed, where forever at rest in the fold of Him who is all love, he is awaiting those to come to him who is now so forlorn and bereft that the grief and burden will not be greater than they will be able to bear with fortitude.  Remembering that those God loveth he chasteneth.
