Died in Atlanta

The relatives and friends in this city of Mrs. W. T. Franklin were pained and grieved at the intelligence of her death that reached here Tuesday. The Journal of that day says of her death:

“This morning Mrs. William T. Franklin, wife of Mr. W. T. Franklin, of the firm of J. C. & I. Daniel, died at the family residence, 62 Cooper street, after an illness of 11 days. Only a short while ago Mrs. Franklin was stricken with peritonitis, from which she suffered until her death.

“Mrs. Franklin was well known in Atlanta. Before her marriage she was Miss Marie Skinner and had many friends in the city who will learn of her death with deepest regret. She was 27 years old. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at the family residence at 3:30 o’clock and the interment will be at Westview cemetery.
