A Sad Death.

Died, at her home, near town, at 6 o’clock p. m., February 18 th, Mrs. Bertha Bobo Field, wife of W. A. Field.

The interment occurred at Cassville, where a large number of her relatives and friends assembled in respect and love to her memory. She leaves a husband, three small children and a father to mourn her loss.

She was born in Bartow county in the year 1871. She was a consistent member of the Crows Spring Baptist church for a number of years.

She received the summons to come and enter the Celestial City, with such a beautiful resignation, knowing a crown awaited her. She made her “paths straight;” her loved ones have only to emulate her example to reach heaven at last.

We cannot understand the mysterious providences of an all-wise Father, in taking such a bright Christian, devoted wife and fond mother from her little ones. Such jewels are needed in His kingdom, and we say! Thy will be done.
