Mrs. Emma Ferguson

Mrs. Emma Jean Ferguson, 36, Silver Creek, died Sunday in a Rome hospital following a brief illness.

Surviving are the widower, Ben Ferguson, Silver Creek; two sons, Benny and Rodney Ferguson, both of Silver Creek; four daughters, Misses Sylvia, Jody Ann, Pamela and Tracy Ferguson, all of Silver Creek; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward King, Silver Creek; one brother, Frank Johnson, Rome; three sisters, Mrs. Norma Shirley Evans, Atlanta, Mrs. Gladys King, Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Celesta Harris, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gore Spring AME Church with the Rev. C.L. Sanders and other ministers officiating. Interment will be in Gore Spring Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Wright Memorial Mortuary chapel from 7 until 8 p.m. today and at other hours will be at the residence in Silver Creek.
