Funeral services for Mrs. Joel Z. Estes, 76, were held Wednesday at Tanner’s Baptist Church.  (Clayton Co.)

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Estes of 304 Jefferson Ave., East Point, died Monday night at her home.

A native of Bartow County, Mrs. Estes had lived in the Atlanta area for the last 55 years.  The former Ida Burks,  (sic) Mrs. Estes was the widow of Joel Ziff Estes.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hollis L Stanley, East Point; grandson Jimmy Stanley; granddaughter Mrs. Clyde Kinnett, and 3 great grandchildren, all of East Point.
