A Card.

Died Oct. 31st, at Dalton, SAMUEL MILDEN (Mille) EDDY in the third year of his age, only son of S. M. and E. G. Eddy.  His remains were sent to his native State for interment.

To the kind friends who lent their aid to us, or volunteered it, we can only say we thank you.  Words fail to express the gratitude of our hearts.  Strangers in a strange land, but now we feel as though the people of Dalton have made us one of a great family—the bond between us is cemented so strongly that wherever our lot may be cast we shall never forget them, and we hope that their afflictions, when they do come, may fall lightly upon them.
