Death of Frank Durham

On Saturday last Mr. Frank P. Durham, deputy clerk of the superior court, passed quietly away at the home of his father-in-law, Mr. George S. Cobb, on Erwin street.

Mr. Durham was stricken with paralysis last May since which time he has been confined to his bed almost continuously.

Mr. Durham was twenty eight years old and was a faithful and efficient official and a man greatly beloved and highly respected by all who knew him.

His funeral occurred at the residence Sunday evening and the remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery.

He was twice married, his last wife surviving to mourn the loss of a true and faithful husband. To her and to his father’s family the sincerest sympathies of the community are extended in their bereavement.
