The Small-Pox Case at Cassville.

The small-pox patient, Richard Duke, Jr. colored, died Sunday 9 a. m. from exhaustion during the suppurative stage.  Had him buried by nurse, Jesse Williams, immediately on the ground where quarantined.  No indications of any new cases, and hope we will have no more; burned cabin and everything thereabouts—removing every possible source of danger from this case.—M. Sequard Browne, M. D.
