Wilson Alden Dodson, veteran of World War II, passed away at the residence unexpectedly last Thursday afternoon.

Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Callie Dodson; the father, James Dodson; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Mae Studyvent, all of Rome, and Mrs. Julia Smith of Columbus, Ohio; the maternal grandparents, Mrs. Julia Harris and L.H. Harris, of Rome Rte. 4; two brothers-in-law, Charles Smith of Columbus, Ohio and Henry Studyvent of Rome; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Inez Dodson of Rome; three aunts, three uncles and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. in Gore Springs Methodist Church. The Rev. J.B. Green will officiate with burial in Gore Spring Cemetery. The body will be at the residence until the funeral hour. Selected pallbearers will meet at the residence, Rome Rte. 4, Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Military services will be observed from the graveside.
