“Doings in Bartow—Ford.”

The sad news reached our section last Saturday announcing the death of Uncle Jesse Dodd, the father of R. H. Dodd, who died recently at the home of his son, Boardy Dodd, at Quitman, Ga. He was 86 years old at the time of his death and we learn had been quite feeble for some time before his exit. We deem it unnecessary to make any further details concerning him as he had for many years prior to the death of his wife been a citizen of this county known and loved by many who will deplore his death and as we do, deeply sympathize with the bereaved ones in their sorrow.
