Obituary.

Little MARY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Newton DOBBS, and granddaughter of Mr. Elliott and Annie Moore, was born in Bartow county, Jan. 7, 1870, and departed this life April 17, 1878.  She was an affectionate and a dutiful child.  She was honest and esteemed by all who knew her.  She was a great honor to the Sabbath school.  She was taken sick while at Sabbath school, she only lived four days after she was taken sick.  Her suffering was unsurpassed, but she bore it with Christian fortitude.  She seemed conscious of her death.  She leaves father, mother and two little brothers and many friends and relatives to mourn her loss, but thanks be to God our loss is her eternal gain; she is today a bright and shining spirit in the realms of that beautiful world above.  Weep not for your child parents, for she is at rest.  Though she can not come to you but blessed be to God you can go to her.  May you be constrained to say the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.  Blesses be the name of the Lord.  “Suffer little children to come unto me for such is the Kingdom of Heaven.”  H. C. J.
