Mrs. Edna L. Dempsey, 86, of Cartersville, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000 at the Emory Cartersville Medical Center.  Mrs. Dempsey was retired from Union Carbide and was a member of the Cartersville First Congregational Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000 at 11 a.m. from the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Mansfield and Rev. Rudy Ross officiating.  Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, 2000 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
