Funeral Conducted Sunday For Mrs. T.W. Day

Mrs. Thomas W. Day, of Atco, age 90, passed away at her home Friday morning following a lingering illness.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from the Atco Methodist Church with the Rev. Clyde Blackstock, and the Rev. W.J. Milsap conducting the service.  Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery with Owen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Day was the former Georgia Frances Burson, a daughter of the late George and Martha Spencer Burson, natives of Jackson County.

Her husband, the late Thomas W. Day, passed away in 1943.  She was a native of Winder, Ga.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R.A. Burt of Macon, Mrs. Essie Crews of Atlanta, and Mrs. Ruby Poe of Atco; and a number of grandchildren
