Rev. L. J. Davies, an old and respected minister of the north Georgia conference, died at his home in Gainesville last Friday, after a long and painful illness.  Mr. Davies was for several years in our midst and has many admirers here, who will be sorry to learn of his demise.  He was one of the oldest ministers in the north Georgia conference.
