DEATH OF MRS. CROW
Good and Estimable Lady Passes to the Great Beyond

Mrs. L.C. Crow died Monday afternoon June 27th at her home at Crows Springs. Her death was a great shock to her friends.

The funeral services were conducted Tuesday at eleven o’clock by Rev. H.P. Sheffield assisted by Rev. George Brown, and Rev. Yerby, of Cassville, from the Methodist church of Cassville. The church was well filled with people who came to pay their last tribute of respect to this good lady, who had so suddenly passed from them. The services were simple yet very impressive. The interment took place at Cassville cemetery.

Mrs. Crow was 36 years old and was Miss Mattie Chapman before her marriage to Mr. Crow and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Chapman, of this county.

She was a member of the Baptist church and was a good Christian lady. She remarked to her husband that she was not afraid to die, but desired to live and help raise her children. Her life was indeed a beautiful one. She was of a lovely Christian spirit and made many friends by her sweet and lovable disposition and her many friends sympathize with the grief stricken family in their sad bereavement.

Mrs. Crow is survived by her husband, Mr. L.C. Crow and the following children: Leslie W., Annie Laura, Ruby L., Mattie T., Emma L., and L.C. Jr., and by the following brothers and sisters: Messrs. J.M. Chapman, of this county, and Joe Chapman, of Atlanta, Mrs. Mollie Richards, wife of Dr. Carter Richards, of Jasper, who died several years ago, Mrs. J.M. Cagle, of Cartersville, Mrs. F.J. Bradley, of Chatsworth, Mrs. H.D. Jones, of Cartersville, Mrs. R.W. Bradley, of Cartersville, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Chapman, of Cartersville.
