Charles James Cross, 70, of Acworth died on Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Cross, of Acworth; two daughters, Laura Manor, of Charlotte, N.C., and Charlene Long, of Dickson, Tenn.; three sons, James Cross, Tim Cross and Ward Pratt, all of Acworth; two stepsons, Mark Pratt, of Acworth, and Michael Pratt, of Savannah, Ga.; two sisters, Charlene Ford, of Boling Green, Ky., and Ruby Jo Vintent, of Summer Shade, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Avery officiating. Interment will be in Pineridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw, Ga.

Collins Funeral Home, Acworth, is in charge of the arrangements.
