Mr. Percy Renfroe went down to Hawkinsville Monday to accompany the remains of his little namesake, Percy Foster Cox, to their last resting place. ******************** Death of an Infant. Percy Foster Cox, grandson of the late Major W. H. Renfroe, whose mother died at Macon about two months ago, died at the home of Mrs. Renfroe in this city early Monday morning. After the death of Mrs. Cox the baby boy, who was about three months old, was brought to Cartersville by Mrs. W. R. Satterfield, and was a bright and interesting child. It seemed to get along nicely for a while, but was taken sick about ten days ago, and died as above stated. Mr. J. R. Cox, the little boy’s father, come up from his home in Macon Sunday evening, arriving a few hours before his death. He left with the remains Monday evening for Hawkinsville where they were buried by the side of its mother. |
