We are pained to chronicle the sad intelligence of the death of Mrs. Mariah Conyers, wife of our young and esteemed friend, James B. Conyers, who departed this life, after a brief illness, at the residence of her mother, Mrs. C. M. Fields, near this place on Sunday evening last, in her 18th year.  In the very bloom of youth and midst of life, she has been called from earth, leaving behind her an endeared mother, affectionate husband, and tender little babe, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her untimely departure.  She was an acceptable member of the M. E. Church South at this place.
