An Afflicted Family.
Mr. Chitwood and Three Children Recover But One Daughter Dies.

We are proud to note the final recovery of Mr. Chitwood and his three children from typhoid fever.  During their illness his daughter, Miss Ada, was taken seriously ill while visiting her sister, Mrs. Evans. She lingered two weeks with the hope that she would return to the home.  The final summons came unexpected to all.  She passed quietly and peacefully away at six o’clock on the tenth of January.  She joined the Baptist church in her thirteenth year and was at all times willing to do her duty as a child of God and we feel that her life will be a guiding star to her young associates.  No one knew her but to love her.  The funeral was conducted by H. J. Morgan, of Acworth, who gave an inspiring talk to the many friends that followed her to her last resting place.  The interment was at Oothcaloga cemetery.

A Friend.
