Killed In a Wreck.

Mr. William Chandler Meets With a Fatal Accident

Mr. S. L. Vandivere received a telegram last Thursday that his brother-in-law, Mr. William Chandler, was dead, and he left on the night train for Tallahassee, Fla., where the latter lived.

Further particulars of the death of Mr. Chandler were received by his sister, Mrs. Vandivere later. He was making his regular run on the Florida Central and Peninsular railroad as engineer, when the engine was derailed, killing him and several others connected with the train.

Mr. Chandler was formerly a citizen of this place, and is pleasantly remembered by his old friends who were shocked to learn of his untimely death.
