Buried Sunday at New Hope

Funeral services for Daniel D. Chandler of Acworth were held Sunday afternoon, March 24, at 2:30 o’clock from the New Hope Baptist Church with interment in the New Hope Cemetery.

The Rev. Cecil Smith was the officiating minister with Owen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Horace McMichen, Ray McMichan, Norman McMichen, Carl Banister, John Ingram, and Horace Grizzle.

His parents were the late Mr. And Mrs. D. C. Chandler of Cobb County.

He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Goddard; a daughter, Mrs. Vinson Barton Jr. of Cartersville; four sisters, Mrs. M. C. McMichen, Cartersville; Mrs. R. T. McCoy, Cedartown; Mrs. V. J. Banister, Rome; Mrs. G. W. Dupree, Cartersville; two brothers, Woodrow and Cecil, both of Adairsville; and two grandchildren.
