Alva Ruth Bruce

Little Alva Ruth Bruce, four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bruce, died at the home of her parents November 11th, from that dreaded disease, pneumonia,  The funeral service was held at the home and was attended by the Sunday School class of which she was a member.  Miss Katherine Payne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Payne, sang a solo, and the class a song.  Rev. Geo. V. Crow performed the ceremony in a very impressive manner.

She is survived by her parents and one little sister.

Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery Sunday and the funeral arrangements were in charge of John W. Jones.
