Transcribed by: |
Mrs. Sarah Brown, who it seems was traveling from Florida to Alabama in a wagon with her little son, arrived on the Southeast commons, Columbus, Ga., a few days ago. Being much fatigued from the ride and in feeble health, she got out of the wagon and expired almost immediately. Two kind ladies, Mrs. Woodruff and Mrs. Davis, hearing of the sad circumstance, took her remains and dressed them. The Rev. Mr. Evans was sent for, and she received a Christian burial. |
