A death causing much sorrow among a large circle of friends was that of Miss Emma Bowdoin, at her country home near this city on Tuesday morning of last week.  She was ill only a few days.  The funeral services were conducted by Revs. J. E. Hudson and W. J. King, at the family cemetery.  She was a noble young woman and a great stay to her widowed mother.  She leaves also a sister and brother, who have the sympathy of the entire community.
