Mrs. J. J. Boston Died at Her Home Thursday

Funeral services for Mrs. Jeff J. Boston, 90, well known resident of the county were held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock from the Stamp Creek Baptist Church with interment in the Stamp Creek Cemetery.  The Rev. W. E. Roberts was the officiating minister and Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Boston passed away at her home near White following a lingering illness, at six-thirty Thursday afternoon, April 4.

Before her marriage she was the former Zonie Mathews, daughter of the late Joseph W. and Lettie Jarvis Mathews. She was a native of Bartow County.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Maxwell, Rydal; Mrs. Fannie Moore, White; Mrs. Alma Faulkner, Jacksonville, Fla.; three sons, Hubert, White; Emory, White; and Tom, Cartersville; two sisters, Mrs. Z. D. Reeves, Calhoun; Mrs. Earl Boston, Curryville, Ga.; one brother, S. A. Mathews, Anniston, Ala; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
