“Cass Station.”

As the notice of Mr. Thomas Booker’s death was never given in Cass Station news, we will with due respect to his memory, give a few facts concerning him. He was born in Gwinnett county, October 5 th, 1818, and moved to this county in 1836. he served as sheriff of the county at one time, the court house then located at Cassville. Mr. Booker was a member of Oak Grove Baptist church for a number of years, was a quiet peacable Christian man, and of course a good citizen, and neighbor. He died at his home near Cass Station, Sept. 24 th, 1893, age seventy-five years. He left a large family to mourn their loss.
