Mr. W. E. Bohanon Succumbed Friday

Funeral services for Mr. William Earl Bohannon, 68, who died at his home on Route 2, Cartersville, Friday afternoon were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Center Church. Rev. Cordell Officiating.

Earl Bohannon was laid to rest in the Johnsey Leachman Cemetery. The following served as pallbearers: Messers: James Clifton, Lon, Dock, and Debe Bohannon, and Mr. R. A. Hulsey. Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Born in Cherokee County, Mr. Bohannon was a son of the late Mr. And Mrs. Lawson Bohannon, pioneer residents of that county. He came to Bartow County to make his home many years ago and during that time had won a wide following of friends who are grieved over his passing. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter: Mrs. R. A. Hulsey, of Cartersville, five sons, Messers: Debe, of Dawson, GA, James K., of Atlanta: D.H. (Doc), Dawson, GA, C. E. of Savannah, L. G., of Cartersville. Thirteen grandchildren also survivie.

Friends extend tenderest, sympathy to members of the bereaved family in their hour of great sorrow.
