Mrs. Nancy Bibb, wife of the late Wm. Bibb, died at her home Feb. 5, 1886, aged 85 years.  She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and through all the years of her profession a patient follower of Christ.  She now sleeps in Jesus who “is the resurrection and the life” to His dear people.  While we mourn the loss of her in the flesh we rejoice in the spirit, in view of the precious truth “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”  And, too, we look forward in joyful anticipation to the resurrection morn when she, with all those who sleep in Jesus, shall arise and meet those in the air and be evermore with the Lord.

“Is not e’en death a gain to those
Whose life to God was given?
Gladly to earth their eyes they close,
To open them in heaven.”
