Mrs. Cindy Bennett, of Route 2, Cartersville, died early Wednesday morning following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Center Baptist Church with the Rev., Clyde Quarles and the Rev. Lucius Howard officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. W. D. Woods, Mrs. Burl Black, Mrs. Ed Grizzle, and Mrs. Clarence Lewis, all of Cartersville; six sons, Lloyd Bennett, East Point; Lawrence Bennett, Lucius Bennett, Paul Bennett, Wornie Bennett and James Bennett, all of Cartersville; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Lee and Mrs. Alice Chitwood, both of Cartersville; several nieces and nephews.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Bennett, 77, was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mattie H. Hufstetler.

Owne Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
