The sad news reached us a few days ago of the death of Mrs. A. R. Bates, of Sycamore, Ga.  She was a citizen of our town about four years ago.  She was a noble Christian lady, and no one knew her but to love her.  We are grieved to hear of her death, but we know she is happy on the shining shore, and we will meet again some sweet day, where parting is no more.
