Seven Burned To Death.
Dr. Bagwell, Five Children and an Old Woman Cremated.

Dalton, Ga., May 10 – 3:30 a. m.  A telephone message just received from Spring Place, the county seat of Murray county, ten miles distant, states that the residence of Dr. Bagwell had just burned and Dr. Bagwell, five children and an old woman who lived in the house with him had all been consumed in flames.

At this hour particulars are meager and no cause for the fire is known.  The first person to arrive on the scene saw Dr. Bagwell jump from the bed and pick up his small child and start for the window, but was overcome before he reached it.

Dr. Bagwell was the leading druggist of Spring Place and recently lost his wife.  All seven who lived in the house were burned; nobody escaped.
