Mr. James Lewis (Jim) Ashley, III, 51, of 80 Lakeside Trail, Cartersville, Ga., died Thursday, March 11, 1999, at Kennestone Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born May 21, 1947 in Chattanooga, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lewis Ashley, Jr., and Irene Sanders Ashley. He was a member of the Cartersville Church of God. Mr. Ashley was self-employed as aircraft machinist.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Ashley; two daughters, Bonnie Dentice, Acworth, and Courtney Ashley, Cartersville; granddaughter, Kallista Dentice.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 13, 1999 at Cartersville Church of God, with Pastor Joe E. Edwards officiating. Interment will be in the Providence Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Church and Pastor's Council.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

The Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
