The many friends and relatives of Mr. Harry Arnold, of Freeman's Ferry, who lived most of his life here, were grieved to learn of his recent death.  His body was brought here for funeral and interment.  He was much loved and respected by scores here and his passing brought sorrow to the entire county.  Heartfelt sympathy is extended to his family and other relatives.

Floyd Farmer Passes At Home

Harry Franklin Arnold, 50, well-known Floyd County farmer, died Friday night at the residence on Burnett's Ferry Road, following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Kingston January 11, 1892, but had made his home in Floyd County for the past 19 years.

Mr. Arnold is survived by the widow, the former Miss Mollie Bozeman, two daughters. Miss Viola and Miss Grace Arnold, both of Rome; three brothers, E.E. and H.A. Arnold, of Rome and T.J. Arnold, of Lindale; three sisters, Mrs. M.D. Reynolds, Mrs. S.B. Worthington, and Mrs. B.S. Worthington, all of Kingston.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph C. Kimsey officiating.  Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Olin Bozeman, Sam Bozeman, Earl Lively, Jack Wade, Allan Arnold and Paul Arnold.

The remains will lie in state at the residence until time for the services.
